Nasdaq 100 Analysis: Index Slides as Sellers Maintain Pressure

NASDAQ 100 |Daily Technical Outlook

Market Structure

The NASDAQ 100 is currently stabilizing after a sharp bearish move, with price consolidating around the 24,300–24,400 region across lower and mid timeframes.

On the broader structure, the index remains in a medium-term corrective phase following the rejection from the 26,000–26,200 region on the Daily chart. The recent decline has established a sequence of lower highs and lower lows on the H4 timeframe, confirming sustained bearish pressure. The latest downside leg appears impulsive, reflecting strong selling momentum and weakness across short-term structure.

Price is now attempting to hold above a nearby support zone, but the broader structure has not yet shifted bullish, with sellers still controlling the market below key resistance levels.

Key Resistance Zone

The nearest resistance is located at 24,500 – 24,700, where recent recovery attempts have stalled and short-term supply remains active.

Additional resistance levels:

  • 24,850 – 25,000 (major H1/H4 supply zone)
  • 25,200+ (key structure recovery level)

As long as price remains below 24,700, bearish pressure is likely to persist.

Key Support Zone

Immediate support is seen at 24,250 – 24,350, where price is currently trying to stabilize.

A breakdown below this zone would expose further downside targets:

  • 24,000
  • 23,700 – 23,800 (major structural support)

A sustained move below 23,700 would confirm continuation of the broader corrective decline.

Expectations

Bearish Scenario (Primary)

The current structure favors continued downside while price remains below 24,700.
A break below 24,250 would likely trigger further selling toward 24,000, with potential extension toward 23,700.

Bullish Scenario (Alternative)

A recovery above 24,700 would signal short-term relief, opening the door for a move toward:

  • 24,850 – 25,000
  • 25,200+ if bullish momentum strengthens

However, a broader bullish reversal requires reclaiming higher timeframe resistance and breaking the current lower high structure.

Outlook

The NASDAQ 100 remains under bearish corrective pressure, with sellers firmly in control after the recent breakdown. While price is attempting to stabilize near support, the overall structure still favors downside unless resistance levels are decisively reclaimed.
