EURUSD Analysis: Euro Holds Near 1.1760 After Pullback

EURUSD | Technical Outlook

Market Structure

EURUSD is currently trading around 1.1760, stabilizing after a corrective decline that followed a failed bullish continuation above recent high. Price recently rejected the 1.1830 – 1.1850 region before pulling back sharply and entering a consolidation phase.

The move from the 1.1650 – 1.1680 zone up toward 1.1800+ previously reflected strong bullish momentum; however, the recent rejection and lower highs suggest weakening upside pressure, with price now shifting into a short-term range on lower timeframes.

Key Resistance Zone

Immediate resistance is located at 1.1780 – 1.1810, supported by:

  • Recent lower highs on M15 and H1
  • Breakdown structure from the latest selloff
  • Confluence with short-term moving averages

A breakout above this zone could lead to:

  • 1.1830
  • 1.1860 (recent swing high)

As long as price remains below 1.1810, upside continuation may remain limited.

Key Support Zone

Immediate support is seen at 1.1730 – 1.1700, which aligns with:

  • Recent reaction lows
  • Intraday demand zone
  • Short-term consolidation base

A breakdown below this level would expose:

  • 1.1680
  • 1.1650 (key H4 support)

A sustained move below 1.1700 would confirm further downside pressure.

Expectations

Bullish Scenario (Alternative)

If price holds above 1.1730, buyers may attempt to regain control.

A breakout above 1.1810 could trigger:

  • A move toward 1.1830
  • Extension toward 1.1860

This would signal renewed bullish momentum.

Bearish Scenario (Primary)

Failure to break above resistance keeps downside pressure intact.

This could result in:

  • A move back toward 1.1730
  • A deeper decline toward 1.1700

A break below 1.1700 would signal continued weakness.

Outlook

EURUSD is currently consolidating near the 1.1760 pivot level following a rejection from higher levels. The short-term structure leans neutral-to-bearish unless buyers reclaim resistance.

A confirmed breakout above 1.1810 would shift momentum back to the upside, while failure to do so may lead to further consolidation or downside continuation.
